Both harvests were sparse, but the grapes were in excellent condition.

The grapes were in perfect condition.  We did not lose a single grape!  What a joy!

August 15, 2013

Pressed the grapes.  Primary fermentation was complete.

Approximately 40 gallons.  With the addition of wine from Jardin Botanico and the Joint Barrel, we were able to fill a 55 gallon storage tank with Red Blend. Stanley started the malolactic fermentation.

September 6, 2013

We added 2 1/2 tsp of potassium sulfite.  The wine is delicious at this point.
