There are still lots of Zinfandel grapes in the vineyard, but they are not ripe. We will decide what to do with them when we return from Texas next week.

Stanley picked all the Zinfandel left in the vineyard that were ripe. There was not nearly as much as he had thought. It is fermenting in a cooler.

Stanley racked the 5 gallon jug.
September 2, 2012
We pressed the Zinfandel grapes and got about three gallons of juice. That was enough to top up the Zinfandel tank with some left over. Stanley racked a three gallon container into a five with the remainder of today's pressing.
