We harvested 205 pounds of Durif. They were beginning to show signs of rot because of all the recent rain.

We bled off about 2 gallons of juice to process as white wine.
July 31, 2012
We made the decision to add back the wine we had bled off. The wine is very dark.
August 6, 2012
Pressed the Petite Sirah Durif.
The yield was 15 gallons of very dark, flavorful wine.
August 12, 2012
Racked the Durif into the small barrel. The remainder will be added to the cabernet mix.
