First grapes of 2011!
The zinfandel we planted in the spring are in great shape. One of the three clones, Bisordi Lane (C) 1103P (C), was blooming when we left on our Croatian adventure on September 10th. When we returned, they had set grapes and by the 1st of December, they were turning color.
When we returned from Christmas vacation, the grapes appeared to be ripe!

The grapes tasted sour. The seeds were still quite green. They will probably not get any riper because the vines have very few remaining leaves.
